So all I wanted for my birthday was to be able to walk thru the rooms in my house. I was pretty disappointed on Friday (3/20/09). I rushed out to the house when I got off work and all I saw was a floor. No walls or anything! Well while we were there we saw the first wall go up! It took all I had not to cheer with excitment! This is our master bedroom wall. Two windows in the bedroom and one from the little room where the toilet is all by itself.
When we went back on Saturday (3/21/09, my b-day) almost all the walls in the house were up and I was able to walk thru it! I was in heaven. Those pics are on my big camera which I promise I will upload soon. This is a pic Brad took with his cell of me just sitting in our fireplace (well that is where it is going to go once it gets a little further along) =)
We also went out there last night (3/23/09) to see if the roof had been pitched or if they had gotten to the bonus room yet, but no luck. We did find tho, that they had started framing out the windows and wrapping the bottom part of the house. Again, another cell phone pic, but I promise to upload the others soon!
You already did blog look at you. Happy belated b-day. I knew it was sometime close to Rich's his is tomorrow. What a great bday present. Your house will be done now before you know it. The pluming and electricity are what will take the longest. I bet he has it done ahead of schedule. Oh how i can't wait to step inside that NEW smell!
